The Telsa electro-roadsterthat goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds is due to hit the streets this fall, and there are 560 orders for the $98,000 electric sports car already pending. When can you get one you ask? Not right away. First you have to plunk down a $50,000 deposit, which gives you the right to buy your shiny new Tesla when they come out or you can pay a $30,000 deposit but you'll be in line behind the $50,000 depositors. And really the $98,000 is just the base price cause on top of that you'll want to add the $1200 navigation system, a carbon fiber hard top that matches the body color for $3200 and then there's that $500 mobile charging system add-on. With all these options, which sound more like necessities to me, it brings your grand total to $102,900. Turns out being green is easy, it's just paying for it that is hard!
Chris is always looking for innovative trends in fashion and lifestyle driven by his curiosity for the good life. He loves to stay up to date on the new in places to go, the latest in music and eccentric new concepts. What he writes about today is what you’ll like tomorrow. That is not meant to sound pompous, it is just part of being a good trend hunter, which is the art of figuring out what is on the edge. It is not about what's already popular, because what's popular is already old.
